The Drawing Room
The Drawing Room is the castle’s moment of quiet grandeur, a space designed to be felt before it is fully taken in.
Deep green panelled walls set a dramatic yet calming backdrop, softened by warm light from crystal chandeliers and the glow of the stone fireplace at its heart. Large mirrors amplify both light and scale, reflecting the room’s symmetry and lending it a sense of ceremonial elegance, while tall windows open onto the formal gardens and fountain beyond, grounding the room in its setting while drawing the outside in.
Leather sofas, curved armchairs and layered textiles offer a variety of places to settle in, encouraging conversation, reflection or simple stillness. The Bechstein grand piano stands as a sculptural element within the room, inviting to share moments of presence and ease.
Refined yet welcoming, the Drawing Room embodies the castle’s sense of lived-in luxury: confident, expressive and designed to be enjoyed slowly.
